JSC "Primorsklesprom" was founded in 1991. The company’s main activities include logging, wood processing, production of sawn timber, and construction of logging roads.

A significant part of JSC "Primorsklesprom"’s operations involves transshipment and cargo handling at the port of Svetlaya. The company is also engaged in shipping, trade, fishing, export of forest products to Japan, Korea, and China, and import of materials, goods, and equipment needed for production.

In December 2019, JSC "Primorsklesprom" began producing pellets.

According to the LesEGAIS system, the annual allowable cut for JSC "Primorsklesprom" and its affiliated LLC PPK "Vostok" is 360.9 thousand m³ of timber per year.
